CB Sounddesign proudly presents the 70s String Synth Performer, a meticulously sampled recreation of an original legendary late 70s/early 80s analog string ensemble synthesizer made by a german company. This instrument captures the warmth, character, and nostalgic charm of classic string machines, delivering lush orchestral textures, vintage synth tones, and a signature ensemble effect straight to your DAW.

The String Performer was one of the last great analog string keyboards of its era, offering a fully polyphonic sound engine with piano, clavichord, cello, viola, and violin tones. The built-in ensemble chorus, powered by classic bucket brigade delay chips, gave the instrument its unmistakable rich and evolving texture. In addition, the monophonic synth presets (Brass, String, Clarinet and Planet) added simple yet effective lead and bass tones.

With the Soundbox Engine, the originally monophonic synth section can now be played polyphonically, expanding its usability and transforming these classic sounds into full, layered textures.

Over 30 patches, a perfect fit for electronic or ambient music, retro synthwave, krautrock, and lofi production.
